FAQ

Where are you located?

Formerly from Fort Smith, we have recently put down roots in Franklin County, Arkansas.  Although I still travel to FS and surrounding locations for shoots, most sessions take place on our property in Mulberry.

How much do you charge?

  • Depending on the session, prices range from $200-400 per session.
  • Mini sessions are $200 and include 30 minutes of shoot time and your favorite 12 images from the session, fully edited and emailed to you with copyright release so you can print as you please.  Mini sessions are perfect for head shots, updated family photos for Christmas cards, or a sports themed shoot as they allow for one outfit and one location.
  • Full sessions are $400 and include an hour (sometimes a little more) of shoot time and your favorite 25 images from the session, fully edited and emailed to you with copyright release so you can print as you please.  Full sessions are for seniors, families and groups.  They allow time for various locations and outfit changes.
  • Sales tax is included in the price of either session, as is a free outfit consult.
  • If you would like to add on digital files, they are available for $20 per file.  I also offer professional wall prints, canvas gallery wraps, greeting cards, etc.  Contact me for pricing.

What should we wear?

  • For a classic, timeless look, choose neutrals.
  • If you prefer color, a good rule of thumb is one main color, one accent color and a neutral. For example: navy, crimson, light gray.
  • If you are going to purchase a large wall print for your home, it's nice to coordinate outfit colors with your home interior.
  • Since most shoots are outside at golden hour, I suggest to stay away from a lot of yellow, gold, green, orange, brown and aqua.  Jewel tones normally work well and pop against the natural background.  Think dark blue, red, burgundy, plum, purple, and black.
  • Stay away from pinstripes and small checks as the lens distorts these small patterns.
  • Please don't be matchy matchy and dress everyone in black shirts and jeans- let everyone's individual style and personality shine through their clothing choices.
  • For the boys- jeans or pants work best, and please, no bulky tennis shoes.
  • Layers and textures make for a more interesting photograph!
